VL-3442 is a multifunctional anti cracking agent for positive electrodes, with a small addition amount (within 0.2%), which can improve the drying cracking problem of high-density positive electrode plates, enhance the flexibility of the plates, and have a certain effect of reducing and stabilizing adhesion, as well as increasing the compaction density and energy density of the plates. The plates are smooth and crack free.
Mechanism
VL-3442 is an anti cracking agent for polyether and phosphate modified polymers. Low molecular weight polyether can alleviate the removal speed of solvent drying process, while the flexible chain segment of polyether can improve its electrode flexibility and lubrication performance, reduce the pores between positive electrode materials, achieve uniform distribution between particles, and improve compaction density. Phosphate ester based can improve the wetting effect of lithium iron phosphate positive electrode material in solvents, reduce the viscosity of the slurry, and improve the viscosity stability of the slurry.
